NYP Rotary Markets Cruise into Wallaroo
We are all very excited to welcome the inaugural cruise ship visits to our region and Copper Coast Council have asked NYP Rotary to manage the markets in Wallaroo for these events.
The “Vasco Da Gama” will visit our shores on the following dates:
- Saturday 7th December 2019 – 8am until 8pm
- Wednesday 18th December 2019 – 8am until 8pm
- Friday 3rd January 2020 – 8am until 7.30pm
The NYP Rotary Cruise Market will be set up in the John Terrace Reserve from 8am until 4pm on each of these days. STALL HOLDERS CAN SET UP FROM 6.30am
This is an exciting time for the Copper Coast and we would expect many visitors to our region from areas such as Southern Yorke Peninsula, Mid North, Port Pirie etc., so would expect to operate very busy markets during this time.
Please note that NYP Rotary will manage these markets separately to their Rotary Kadina Markets which are held every month in Victoria Square, Kadina.
Wallaroo Christmas Carols
This year's Carols will be held on Sat 7th Dec at 10.00am on the lawn area of the Owen Terrace side of the Foodland complex. At this stage we are planning to close the road for a couple of hours (to be confirmed). The Carols will once again feature Sing Australia, local schools, Kindy and the very talented Georgina Gross. This event will be held on the same day as the 1st cruise ship is arriving so we are hoping for a nice crowd. BYO chair and come along to this FREE Community Event to enjoy some nice festive entertainment to get you into the Christmas spirit.
